Jules Thévenot becomes a professional guitarist in the early 2000s thanks to the meeting with Alain Sourigues, singer-songwriter of Mont de Marsan, in Landes. Their duet grows rich of a double bassist in 2002, a first album of the trio, "Two", goes out in 2003.

Jules Thévenot plays on instruments Maurice Dupont since then. At first one Folk Concert CF30, then came successively classic one Prelude, a banjo tenor a special order, and finally recently an arch-top one Saint-Louis and the ampli jazz 2.

Alain Sourigues's second album, "Dry", goes out in April, 2011, produced by Ariane Productions of Bordeaux.

In parallel, Jules Thévenot created a show " Jules Box " in whom, solo, he interprets songs of the "modern" directory, that is for the most part of before 1960, accompanied with a MDC 100 or of Saint-Louis.
